Pretty in pink in Paris
The inspiration for the styling on our Paris shoot came from a piece of art work in the Alfred Sommier Hotel courtyard which showed an abundance of flowers. We wanted to do something a little different and make this Parisian elopement shoot over the top whilst still looking elegant so on this occasion less wasn't more.
Gray starling made us a beautiful bespoke design which was then digitally printed onto the tablecloth for the dining table that you'll see pictured below. This floral design was then carried through the shoot with the stationary and brought to life with hues of pink flowers. Liz from Blue Sky created an ombré meadow effect throughout the centre of the table to match the ombré flowered cloth. We complimented the colours used here with gold touches from the cutlery, crockery and glasses. For an additional touch we tied raw natural crystals with hand died silk ribbon on each place setting.
We added personal touches to the day such as a personalised bottle of French Rosé wine which our couple sipped in their crystal champagne coupes with real flower discs inside whilst cutting their wedding cake.
Our bride wore a bardot dress along with a vintage wave accesorized with a gold hairslide worn to the side which really gave that magical nostalgic feeling of being back in classical France. Our bride's pearlised Bella Belle wedding shoes, gold earrings and yellow sapphire vintage ring completed her bridal outfit
Our Groom wore a blue suit along with a floral bow tie and pocket square to bring in pinks to his outfit.
We wanted to reflect the old vintage Paris throughout this editorial so we took our models to the old Parisian streets whilst the sun was setting.
